The first meeting for the Lothian & Borders Support Group will be held on Saturday 24th July 2010 at the Village Hall, East Ord from 11.30am to 4pm.

Mags Henderson, a mum of two youngsters, one of whom has Tourette Syndrome (TS) is the contact for the Lothian and Borders group. The innaugral meeting was held on 13th September 2008 at Langlee Community Centre, Galashiels, Selkirkshire. This was arranged following a mass distribution of posters in the area to local authority. organisations, health centres, youth clubs and most importantly members of Tourette Scotland.
It was from that meeting that it was discussed and planned to look at developing an Adult Group for TS who have since met twice over the weekends of November 2008 and January 2009. Another adult meeting is planned for March.
Mags Henderson along with others in the region will continue looking to develop a local group for all and at how they can attract more participants in the future.
