The Highlands Support Group has held a few successful meetings during the summer - in May, June (at the Black Isle Wildlife Park), and more recently on the 4th September at the Landmark Forest Adventure Park.  This was very well attended by adults and children and on a beautiful day, they had a busy time and the children were able to let off steam while the adults were able to discuss things such as medication, schooling and holidays.

The first meeting of our new Tourette Scotland Highlands Support Group was held at Dingwall Community Hall on the 27th August.  This group will be run by a lady called Jocelyn with assistance from Clare who were both very pleased with  the way things have gone so far.  They had a good turn-out and know of more people who are interested in joining too.  A get-together has already been organised for September with new friendships having been made (adults and children alike).  To find out more please call 01738 450411 or email info@tourettescotland.org

Eilidh (age 14) has written the following article:

"On Saturday 19th September, the Highland Tourettes Group that has recently been set up, had our very first outing.  Fourteen of us went for an afternoon at Rollerbowl in Inverness.  We all had great fun and enjoyed it so much that we have another outing planned for November."
