Welcome to Tourette Scotland's Fundraising page.

Tourette Scotland is grateful to Ross MacPherson for his donation of £350, which he raised by making and selling fantastic origami models.  This is the second large cheque from Ross, and he is certainly raising awareness for us too.  Thank you Ross, what a brilliant job you are doing (with the support of his parents Gillian & David).

The photo below is Ross with Louise & Denise (leaders of the West of Scotland Support Group).

We went along to Perth's North Inch Campus today to watch the final of the YPI.  Two groups (below) from St John's Academy did their presentations on Tourette Scotland and did us proud.  They did so well by getting to the final, and we are chuffed that they have done so much to help raise awareness of Tourette Syndrome.  Thank you all very much.

Despite the awful weather at the weekend Tourette Scotland was lucky enough to have a number of hardy walkers & runners taking part in the Challenge Scotland Christmas fundraising event in Edinburgh to raise funds.  A huge thank you to everyone who took part on our behalf.  Aileen (and her friends), and Abbie raised £400 for Tourette Scotland.  In the picture we have Aileen, Alison, Emma and Abbie.

Jack and Eva are seen here presenting a cheque for £268.10 to Denise, one of the leaders of the Tourette Scotland West of Scotland Group.  Jack and Eva raised the money at the Scottish unior Triathlon Championships in June where they were both competing.  They were sponsored by friends and neighbours, and also had a bake stall at the event where a lot of the parents donated baking.  Well done, and huge thank you to both.

REAGIN AND FRIENDS, BUSKING FOR TOURETTE SCOTLAND

Glasgow Tourette Scotland member Reagin Lowdon took over Glasgow's Buchanan Square by busking for the charity along with a few of her friends.

The 19-year-old was joined by members of Newarthill's Reeltime Music, where she also attends, on the fundraising venture which took place from 10am on Thursday 2st July.

Reagin has Tourette Syndrome and wanted to do something to raise awareness of the condition and raise money for the charity which has helped her cope with it.

She performed acoustic music on the day to raise money for Tourette Scotland, as did fellow performers including Lauren Davies-King, Jamie Combrinck, Chris Croken, Anthony Welsh, Craig McDonagh, and Zander Keegan, Gillian Thomson and Daniel Carney.

Not only did some funds get raised, so did awareness of Tourette Syndrome, with passers-by asking about the condition and finding out more.  One welcome visitor was a man from Brasil with Tourette Syndrome who took our leaflets away with him.
